LabelManager - D1

LabelManager-D1

Replace the existing batteries with a new/fresh set of alkaline batteries, replace the existing tape cassette with a new tape cassette or use a cotton swab dipped in a pure alcohol-based solution (e.g. isopropyl or rubbing alcohol) to carefully clean the transporter roller and print head. Dust, dirt, or glue may accumulate on the rubber transport roller or print head inside the cassette compartment and adversely affect print quality. If the problem is still not resolved, please contact DYMO Technical support.

There may be some slack with the ink ribbon in the tape cassette. Remove the tape cassette from the label maker and make sure that the inking ribbon is tight. If the ribbon is not tight then tighten it by turning the black spool in the cassette clockwise until the ink ribbon is tight against the label tape. The ink ribbon in the tape cassette may also be broken or severed. In that case, you will need to replace the tape cassette.

The LabelManager 420P requires a maximum time of 6 hours to fully charge from empty to full. The battery is fully charged when a voltage level of 8.4V is reached. When this voltage is reached, the battery indicator will show a solid bar.

Slow browsing in a label folder is an indication that there are too many labels stored in a single folder. Create a new folder in your LabelManager 500TS and ensure each folder has no more than 500 labels stored inside.

Each label folder is capable of holding 500 labels. To download more files, you will need to create a new folder and download the labels to that location.

Open the LabelManager 500TS Updater software. Connect your LabelManager 500TS to its USB cable. Select the Update button on LabelManager 500TS Updater. Once the update is complete, hold the Power Button on the LabelManager 500TS for 5 seconds to completely power off the unit, then power it on to begin printing labels.

On a label, type: *#0000# (Verify that the tool bar is minimized). Press Enter.
