Turn the device off. Open the cartridge door to your LetraTag label maker. Remove the tape cassette. Dampen a cotton swab or the cleaning tool (if present) with a pure-alcohol based solution, such as isopropyl or rubbing alcohol, and carefully but thoroughly wipe the print head with it. Allow the solution to dry for 5 minutes before turning the device on and attempting to print. You can also watch a video how to do it here : Click Here

Power on the LetraTag. Press the Settings key. Using the up or down arrows on the Navigation key (the Navigation key is the circular key with the 4 arrows), select Language and press OK. Using the up or down arrows on the Navigation key, select the Language you want and press OK.

Power on the LetraTag. Press the Insert key. Use the Navigation key (the Navigation key is the circular key with the 4 arrows) to select Symbols. Press the OK key. Use the Navigation key to select a symbol. Press the OK key. Enter any additional text or symbols if necessary. When complete press the Print key to print your label.

Power on the LetraTag. Press Settings. Using the up or down arrows on the Navigation key (the Navigation key is the circular key with the 4 arrows), select Set Date and press OK. Using the left or right arrows on the Navigation key, move the cursor over each setting (month, day, and year) and use the up or down arrow keys to increase or decrease the value. Press OK, the default time is displayed. Use the left or right arrows on the Navigation key to move the cursor over each setting (hours and minutes) and use the up or down arrow keys to increase or decrease the value. When finished, press OK.

LetraTag label makers have a number lock feature. Num Lock is turned off by default. When Num Lock mode is turned on, the Num Lock indicator is shown on the display (upper right corner) and the numbers 1 through 0 appear when you press the corresponding letter keys. To restore normal letter printing you'll need to disable number lock by pressing the blue Num Lock button on the keyboard. The Num Lock indicator should disappear from the display.

Power on the LetraTag. Enter the text that should appear on the first line. Press the Insert key. Use the Navigation key (the Navigation key is the circular key with the 4 arrows) to select Second Line. Press the OK key. A multi-line symbol is inserted at the end of the first line, but will not print on the label. Enter the text that should appear on the second line. When complete press the Print key to print your label.
